Our focus is on anatomically correct and technically precise training. The training is challenging, creative and combines classical elements of traditional pilates with the flowing elements of yoga and exercises from functional bodywork.

Q: Who is this course designed for? A: The Y4ALL Core Power Pilates Teacher Training is designed for everyone who places importance on health, strength and a holistic approach to fitness in their lives. Our courses are primarily aimed at students with prior teaching experience in related fields (yoga, fitness, movement) or those with existing knowledge of anatomy and Pilates fundamentals. We also welcome students without prior teaching experience who have a sufficient practice background and want to deepen their Pilates knowledge.

Q: Do I need prior Pilates teaching experience? A: No, prior Pilates teaching experience is not required. However, we recommend having either teaching experience in related fields OR a solid personal Pilates practice foundation. Joining classes with Nicole or Jonas will give you a great inside on our style.

Q: What if I'm completely new to teaching? A: If you're new to teaching but have a strong personal practice and genuine interest in deepening your Pilates knowledge, you're welcome to join. We'll support your development throughout the training.

Q: How much hands-on adjustment training is included? A: Hands-on adjustments are a significant component of our training. You'll learn safe, effective adjustment techniques and practice them extensively during the afternoon sessions.

Q: Will I get to practice teaching during the training? A: Absolutely! Teaching practice is integrated into our afternoon sessions. You'll have multiple opportunities to practice teaching with feedback from instructors and peers.

Prerequisites & Preparation

Q: What should I do to prepare for the training? A: We recommend:

  • Maintaining a regular Pilates practice (ideally at Y4ALL with Nicole or Jonas)

  • Reviewing basic anatomy if you're unfamiliar with it

  • Coming with an open mind and readiness to learn

  • Specific preparation materials will be sent upon registration

Q: What certification will I receive? A: Upon successful completion of all requirements, you'll receive your Y4ALL Core Power Pilates Teacher Training certification (50h), qualifying you to teach Core Power Pilates classes.

Q: What are the requirements for certification? A: Certification requirements include full attendance, participation in all practical sessions, completion of assignments, and demonstration of teaching competency. Full details provided during training.

Q: What if I don't have prior teaching experience? A: No previous teaching experience or formal qualifications are required! We welcome dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their knowledge. Students with prior teaching experience often find transitioning into teaching easier afterwards, so the learning curve can be a bit longer for first-time teachers, but that's completely normal and we support everyone through the process.

Q: How many participants do you accept in each training? A: We maintain small group sizes to ensure personalized attention and quality learning experience for all participants.

Q: Is this a mat-only training? A: Yes, this is a mat-based Pilates training. While we focus significantly on core work, the curriculum covers full-body movement, anatomy, and sequencing - not exclusively core exercises.
